To Whom Smile Laser Can Be Applied?
- Persons aged 18 and over,
- Persons who have not had an increase in refractive error in the last year,
- People with myopia values between -1.00 and -8.00 degrees,
- People with astigmatism values below -5.00 degrees.
How is Smile Laser Applied?
As a result of a detailed eye examination and tests before the operation, it is primarily evaluated whether the eye structure of the person is suitable for smile surgery. After placing a vacuum ring that prevents the person from moving their eyes, the laser is applied for an average of 22 seconds and the process is terminated with the removal of the lenticule formed in the cornea through a 2-4 mm incision.
