Cataract is the deterioration of the lens of the eye (lens), whose task is to focus the image on the retinal layer, losing its transparency and becoming frosted glass. It is the loss of vision as a result of the lens that has lost its transparency, preventing the light and image from reaching the retina layer.

How Is Cataract Treated?
Cataract is an eye disease that progresses over time and cannot be stopped. The only treatment is surgery. It cannot be treated with glasses or medication. The most current and new treatment applied in recent years is smart lens (trifocal lens) applications.
